Tour Overview:
This grand tour will lead to the visit to the southernmost source of River Nile at Rutovu downhill the mount Gikizi. It was discovered in 1934 by the German Waldecker. From this beautiful structure, you will visit the central plateau of Bututsi and the plain of Muhweza, and additionally the town of Rutana .The Nile is the longest river in Africa and its channel crosses five African nations upstream-downstream, of which Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Sudan, and Egypt.
Day 1: Visit the source of the Nile:
A tour guide from African Jungle Adventures Ltd will pick up from your hotel and transfer to Rutovu to see the source of the River Nile the longest river in Africa and the second in the world. This is a small forest river stream with beautiful water flow. So you will enjoy the wonderful scenery and you will also get a chance to take photos around the area. Then after you will enjoy a village walk around the towns of Rutana and then return to Bujumbura City where the tour ends.
