Uganda is a landlocked country found in East Africa boarded by south Sudan in the north, Tanzania in the south, Kenya in the east, Democratic Republic of Congo in west in the south western part there is Rwanda. The country has the largest part of Lake Victoria and home to a variety of wildlife in different national parks.
The country is also found in the African Great Lakes Region and is a proud home of different wildlife species. The country became a famous tourist destination because it’s a home to the rare and endangered Mountains gorillas in the national parks of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga National Parks.
The country is home to almost half of the world’s population of these animals and gorilla trekking is the highlight of any safari or tour to Uganda.
Mountain gorillas are not the only attractions in the country, the country is also home to the variety of wildlife in different game reserves and national parks in the country like; queen Elizabeth national park, Kidepo Valley National Park, Murchison Falls National Parks and others.
